Founder and Managing Partner
Mr. Moore has over 20 years of experience investing, founding, leading, and advising tech, clean-tech, and life science companies. He has had C-level experience, and has served on the Board of Directors and Advisors of numerous companies in various stages of development and operation. Mr. Moore founded and is Chairman of The VC Roundtable (www.thevcroundtable.com) of Southern California, a private, invitation-only, monthly VC networking organization that was founded in early 2002.
Mr. Moore has an excellent track record and some of his investments include a global media (TV, Radio and Music) over cellular networks provider named MobiTV (approaching $100M in revenues in 2010 and an IPO candidate); a quantum cascade laser company called Daylight Solutions (profitable after the Series "B" round); a broadband wireless sub-systems integrator E-Band Communications (with over $15M in sales backlog); a manufacturing automation software company called Incuity (sold to Rockwell for a 108% IRR, a 3.8X return in 20 months), and several additional software companies.
Mr. Moore founded, developed, and is the former Executive Director of the Morrison & Foerster Venture Network. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Moore was a Managing Partner at HamiltonTech Capital Partners, a tech and med-tech follow on VC fund to the original 1999/2000 Hamilton Fund located in Southern California. Mr. Moore has a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Florida, an M.B.A. in Venture Management and Marketing from the University of San Diego, and successfully completed a nine-month long post-graduate Entrepreneurship Program at University of California, San Diego – CONNECT.
